Budget. Are the leaders scared that the government will not be able to protect citizens like Stephanie from civilian and military terrorists? Did they forget that we need a funded police force and federal law enforcement agencies to protect us from assault and intimidation?
We pray that senators and congressional leaders insert laws to protect women from date rape, sexual intimidation at work - which is beyond flirting, it's grabbing, sexual jokes to make people uncomfortable and insisting people engage in sexual conversations and sexual behaviors with a colleague, with a boss - someone who possesses the power to terminate people and someone who possess the power to lie about the person's work performance when the person seeks a job at another company in order to avoid sexual intimidation.
Mr. Boehner, speaking during Face the Nation today, insists that immigration should be tied to funding federal law enforcement agencies. I think serious sexual intimidation at work should be addressed when creating budgets. It's my thought that women who make less than $100,000 a year are more susceptible to sexual intimidation at work.
