The Wire, David Simon & President Barack Obama: The War on Drugs is Violent and Sad

I, Stephanie, never used illegal drugs or abused legal prescribed drugs. Some say I'm weird, but they probably want me to join them in a drug induced coma supplied by dangerous drug dealers or the medical/pharmaceutical industry wanting to make money from altering minds, especially the ethnic minority minds. Making these drugs legal is dangerous, they alter the mind too much, more so than alcohol and food.

I can't imagine going to the local drug store and needing to wait in line behind someone picking up crack, cocaine, marijuana, meth or whatever drug addicts take to avoid the inevitable sadness that sometimes enters our lives. These drugs make people forget they need to work and they need families and they are willing to rob and steal for these items.

The Wire creator David Simon was interviewed by President Barack H. Obama about the premise of his show. I think The Wire displayed the urban decay that makes living in certain areas dangerous for law abiding citizens.

The president says "we've seen reduction in violent crime in most urban areas in America."

What will President Barack Obama about police not arresting drug dealers that clog sidewalks with profanity and dirty drug addict customers who will assault citizens for to feed addiction.

Representative John Boehner - Funding for Federal Law Enforcement Agencies

Budget.  Are the leaders scared that the government will not be able to protect citizens like Stephanie from civilian and military terrorists?  Did they forget that we need a funded police force and federal law enforcement agencies to protect us from assault and intimidation?

We pray that  senators and congressional leaders insert laws to protect women from date rape, sexual intimidation at work - which is beyond flirting, it's grabbing, sexual jokes to make people uncomfortable and insisting people engage in sexual conversations and sexual behaviors with a colleague, with a boss - someone who possesses the power to terminate people and someone who possess the power to lie about the person's work performance when the person seeks a job at another company in order to avoid sexual intimidation.

Mr. Boehner, speaking during Face the Nation today, insists that immigration should be tied to funding federal law enforcement agencies.  I think serious sexual intimidation at work should be addressed when creating budgets. It's my thought that women who make less than $100,000 a year are more susceptible to sexual intimidation at work.
